At a party a few months ago I over heard friends chatting and asking how long they had each known me. This is where I heard the phrase "pre-vegetable days" coined as they all agreed that they had known me in my pre-vegetable days.
Now that I am able to eat most things I suddenly had the realization that I have been missing out. I have years and years... okay decades to catch up on! (With that pressure, can you imagine me at a buffet?)
With this new mission to catch up on my food experiences, I have developed quite the obsession with finding out what people are eating, how they made it (or what restaurant they ate it at), what they think it tastes like, would they eat it again, etc... I am sure it is quite awkward having these conversations with me, but I'm okay with it. Bare with me people. I am just trying to live vicariously through you and your meal. I will then use that experience to decide if I will incorporate what you are eating into my next baking/cooking extravaganza.
